Barack Obama and the Not So Golden Snitch

With average unemployment rate nearly four points higher than it was under George W. Bush, sluggish economic growth, and a soaring national debt, people just don’t seem to love Barack Obama as much as they used to.  You might even say the American people have had enough of him.  Last night, the Republicans won a House seat they haven’t held since the 1920s.

Some Democrats may be in denial about what American citizens think of them, but President Terrific isn’t taking any chances.  Yesterday, the President’s re-election campaign launched a website, Attackwatch, asking his supporters to report all “smears” and “lies” about the President to his campaign.  That goes for any blog post you may see, any radio show you may hear, any email you receive from a friend, or maybe any tweet that catches your eye.  No matter where you are, if you see something, say something.  Dear Leader is counting on you.

Not surprisingly, the Attackwatch campaign is already backfiring, with much of the conservative blogosphere and Twitterverse openly mocking the President for his Orwellian approach and thin skin.  Here’s an excellent example.

I’m doing my part…i sent in an e-mail to report the MSM for falsely accusing Obama of competence; i think we should all start e-mailing and tweeting as often as possible: “my fries are cold-can you fix that?” “my sister has cooties-lock her up”…”some moron has set up a snitch line called “AttackWatch”
