Dreaming of a White Halloween

It snowed yesterday, leaving me a little unclear what to say to people — Happy Halloween?  Happy Thanksgiving?  Merry Christmas?  Happy President’s Day?  Regardless, I’m sure record snow for such an early date is somehow a sign of global warming and that the end-times are upon us.

In my part of New Jersey had about 2 inches of ice/snow, which was just enough to leave plenty of people without power, ruin lots of Halloween party plans, and brought out the crazy drivers about a month early.

I like snow, just not this much in October.  I think seasons should stick to their own turf — I want a White Christmas, not a White Halloween.
