Shocker: Obamacare Costs Soar Past Projections!

I’m probably just as shocked as you are, (which means I’m not shocked at all) upon hearing that the CBO recently scored Obamacare’s revised costs to be around$1.76 trillion from 2013-2022.

Obamacare was expected to cost around $940 billion dollars over ten years for six years of coverage, not including the tacked-on $200+billion “doctor fix”.  It was also not going to add to the deficit, save Medicare by stripping $500 billion out of it, somehow reduce health costs by adding new insurance mandates, and allow you to keep your doctor if you wanted to.

How was this all to happen?  Magical budgeting wizards, of course!  Aside from the “I-told-you-so” mockery all Obamacare opponents (like myself) are indulging in, this really is a serious financial cluster-*&^# waiting to smite our near-term economic future.
