Peyton Manning to the Denver Broncos

Future Hall-of-Famer Peyton Manning has found a new home since being released from the Indianapolis Colts — the Denver Broncos.  The Broncos’ old quarterback, the inspirational Tim Tebow, will likely need to find a new home fast.

I’m glad Manning will be playing again after recovering from neck surgery.  I hated him (in a sports rival kind of way) as a Colt because I respected his ability as a player and his team to get the job done.  However,  Manning hasn’t really proven anything yet.  He can pass OK, but not the way he used to.  He says the right things and acts the right way and all, but part of me fears he’s one sack away from a wheelchair.  I felt the same way when Tedy Bruschi came back to the Patriots after suffering a stroke.  Bruschi ended up OK, but was never the same.

Yet, at the end of the day this could be great for the Broncos, Peyton, and the average football fan who loves to see talent on display.
