In a sober twenty-minute speech today, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich officially announced the suspension of his 2012 campaign for President.  In today’s day and age, one has to “suspend” one’s campaign rather than just “end” it since there’s usually debt involved which must be handled.  Newt’s got lots of debt — $4 million worth.  [...]
