PETA Informally Bets on Senator’s Death

Earlier this week, someone at the USDA decided to promote “Meatless Mondays,” pushing farm state Senator Chuck Grassley of Iowa to tweet his disapproval of such a “stupid” move and that he’d be eating more meat to compensate!

It was typical Obama Nation nonsense to even release this memo — it’s supposed to be the Agriculture Department’s job to promote farming as well as the raising of livestock.  So, I do agree with Grassley on his tweet, but can also see how groups like PETA would be annoyed.

Being annoyed is one thing;  placing informal bets on the 78-year-old senator’s potentially untimely death due to his eating of more tasty animals is quite another!  Real mature, PETA.  This is the kind of reaction which illustrates why PETA is perceived by many as a fringe group and not taken seriously.
