Obama’s “Take the Bullet Out” Speech

Here’s a nine-minute clip of then Senator Obama in 2007 at Hampton University.  In this “Take the Bullet Out” speech, Obama’s pretty feisty and very different than the polished public celebrity we all know:

The buzz is that the whole video apparently lasts forty minutes, some of which may be aired tonight and likely dominate the blogosphere and the headlines tomorrow.  I’d love to hear the stuff which didn’t make the polished cut — a Reverend Wright shout out?  Some racialism?  Condescension to poor people and America?  Probably all of the above.

UPDATEHere’s the full speech.  Check it out, there’s definitely some fringe stuff in there.  Will it make an impact by changing people’s perceptions?  It’ll probably just reinforce what people already choose to believe.
