Coincidentally, One Major Obamacare Insurance Mandate Delayed Until After 2014 Election

Breaking news out of Foggy Bottom’s Treasury Department:  the administration will delay a mandate on large employers to provide health insurance until 2015.

It’s likely that this move is not just about a lack of preparedness (which I can totally believe), but also to dull the political and economic impact of the impending Obamacare train wreck until after the 2014 Elections.

With Obamacare polling really poorly and it being clear that its 2014 roll out will have onerous effects on businesses of all kinds, Obamacare will undoubtedly be politically devastating to Democrats during the 2014 Election cycle.  Add the fact that the Republicans have zero Obamacare stink on themselves, and we could see an electoral repeat of 2010 without some interference from above.

UPDATEMark Levin is not happy about this development.
