Saturday Asiana Airlines Flight 214 crashed while attempting to land at San Francisco International Airport.  Two people were killed and at least 182 were injured — it’s amazing that more people weren’t killed.  Here is video of the crash itself.

Dozens of people are still in critical condition at area hospitals — our thoughts and prayers are with them.

This morning we are learning that pilot error may have been the cause of the crash.  As it turns out, the pilot only had 43 hours experience a Boeing 777, was attempting his first landing at a difficult airfield, and came in too slow likely causing the plane to stall at a key part of the attempt, prompting the crash.  While an investigation is still ongoing, a picture of what happened is starting to become clear.
