The New Fox on Fox

Elisabeth Hasselbeck made it official on The View yesterday that she’ll be moving to the curvy couch at Fox & Friends starting this September, where she’ll be replacing co-host Gretchen Carlson.  I think it’s a great career move, being that it keeps her in the media in a more intellectual environment.  Pretty soon she may get her own specials/exposes and might actually move into the realm of journalist, rather than merely a TV personality.

Critics of Hasselbeck didn’t take long before dwelling on her possible failure at her new position.  The left loves to hate Hasselbeck for three reasons in my opinion:  she’s attractive, confident, and her politics is on the right.  There isn’t a more loathsome thing to many of them.  But, that’s OK, we’ll keep her.
