Syria: Brits Out For Now

Britain’s Parliament defeated Prime Minister David Cameron’s plan to join a potential Obama-Wants-to-Save-Face Bombing Escapade US military strike on Syria by a vote of 282 to 217.  Although the vote was not binding Cameron got the hint, implying that he’d abide by the will of the parliament.

Soon Obama’s sentimental legislature, the UN Security Council, will take up the measure, where Russia and China will defang any international action against Syria.

However, such an action could give Obama the political cover to step back, put the sabre down, and let our enemies continue to kill themselves without interference.
