Abortion, eugenics and euthanasia are but a few of the joys our progressive friends want to rain down upon us. After all we are simply simple and they are enlightened.
My wife and I travel extensively in Central Asia and none of my enlightened friends want to join me to view first hand the fruits of 70 years of collectivization.
Please tell me what you have to gain by trying to scare old people with the “possibility” of a doctor shortage if the United States provides healthcare to those who cannot afford it, limit outrageous out-of-pocket private insurance deductibles and not allow insurance companies to deny affordable healthcare to someone who just changed jobs?
Do you not know that medical schools control the number of applicants they admit to medical schools? If they need is there, more applicants can get into medical school (competition is GOOD! remember?).
I find it really creepy that some of you graduated from my alma mater, Duke University.
To Mike, Ryan, and Sal I absolutely LOVE the debt post you put up with the clear stats and all! I have a blog and would like to link to your post and use about a third of the numbers (with attribution, and in context of course). This is part of a Cloward-Piven post that I’m working on. I’ll wait on your “Ya” or Nay”. Thanks again. JINGOIST

Keep on keeping on!
