No US Combat Deaths in Iraq Last Month

That’s a pretty bold statement, but nonetheless a true one.  The US military lost zero soldiers in combat last month — an all-time low for a one-month period!  However, three soldiers did die of non-combat causes.  2009 itself was the most quiet year since 2004 on the casualty front.

Petraeus: Iraq “Spiraling Upwards”
